Medellin-EPM faces a 30-day racing ban after two anti-doping violations. The International Testing Agency (ITA) confirms the suspension, effective from March 27, 2026, to April 25, 2026. This decision follows abnormalities in the Biological Passports of riders Aldemar Reyes and Fabio Duarte during the 2025 season.

Reyes is flagged by the National Anti-Doping Organisation of Colombia on June 10, 2025, for irregularities between February and August 2023. Duarte receives a similar notification on August 21, 2025, for issues spanning February 2023 and July to December 2024, as well as January 2025.

With key performances from veteran Oscar Sevilla and former QuickStep sprinter Alvaro Hodeg, the team can appeal the ruling at the Court of Arbitration for Sport. If the ban holds, they will miss critical races, including the Tour of Hainan.
