Pavel Sivakov is set to join Decathlon CMA CGM on a three-year deal starting in 2027, moving from UAE Team Emirates-XRG. This transfer aims to strengthen Decathlon's appeal to rising star Paul Seixas, whose contract also expires in 2027. Patrick Lefevere has publicly urged Seixas to consider options outside UAE amidst ongoing speculation surrounding his future. Sivakov, once a young prodigy with victories in the under-23 Giro d'Italia and Ronde de l'Isard, has evolved into a key domestique for Tadej Pogačar. Sivakov and Seixas share a competitive history, having raced together for France at the UEC Road European Championships and UCI Road World Championships in Rwanda. Additionally, Decathlon is reportedly interested in Jordan Jegat, whose TotalEnergies contract ends soon, after a solid performance at the 2025 Tour de France. Discussions about his potential move are reportedly progressing well.
