Primož Roglič clarifies recent comments regarding his summer racing schedule, calling it a "misunderstanding." The Slovenian cyclist aims for a strong season, highlighted by a fifth title at the Vuelta a España. After finishing fifth at Tirreno-Adriatico, he secures a podium spot at Milano-Torino, finishing behind Tom Pidcock and Tobias Halland Johannessen. Despite a solid performance, Roglič hints at an uncertain summer, stating, "You have to go race by race or day by day."
With a gap between now and the Vuelta on August 22, Roglič seems unlikely to compete in the Giro d'Italia or Tour de France, as the Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe team looks to Pellizzari and others for leadership in those events. Upcoming races include Itzulia Basque Country and the Tour de Romandie, both of which Roglič has previously won.
