Jonas Vingegaard faces a challenge at Paris-Nice after the team time trial. Following Juan Ayuso's strong performance on stage 2, which gave him a four-second lead, the gap has now widened to 17 seconds. Vingegaard's team, Visma-Lease a Bike, initially set a fast time but fell short against Ineos Grenadiers, who claimed victory. Vingegaard acknowledges the team's struggles, stating, "It may not have been our best day as a team." Despite the setback, he remains optimistic, emphasizing their strong lineup and readiness to fight back. Ayuso now wears the yellow jersey, with Ineos' Kévin Vauquelin and Oscar Onley trailing closely. Vingegaard and teammate Davide Piganzoli sit 17 seconds behind, while Aleksandr Vlasov and Dani Martínez are just 22 seconds off. With five stages remaining, the competition intensifies as the race to the finish heats up.
