Visma-Lease a Bike unveils a unique jersey for their women's team at this year’s Tour de France Femmes, featuring drawings from children. This creative initiative highlights the connection between cycling and the aspirations of young fans.
The Tour de France Femmes kicks off on August 1 in Lausanne, Switzerland, and concludes on August 9. As the defending champions, Visma's team, led by Pauline Ferrand-Prévot, aims for victory again, particularly on the challenging slopes of Mount Ventoux. Veteran Marianne Vos, a three-time stage winner and double points jersey holder, also seeks to make an impact.
Unable to wear their traditional yellow jerseys due to the leader's maillot jaune, Visma organized a drawing competition for children to illustrate their "cycling dreams." The winning designs will be showcased on the team’s striking black and yellow jerseys. Visma visited the 15 winners at their schools, presenting them with jerseys featuring their artwork, capturing the joyful moments on social media.
The jersey design transitions from black shoulders to yellow at the bottom, where the children’s drawings are displayed. Visma's CMO, Jasper Saeijs, emphasizes the campaign's goal of inspiring children to dream big, showing that dreams can indeed become reality.
