Toto Wolff, managing director of Mercedes, is rejecting accusations of cheating regarding the engine and fuel of his cars. In a press conference in Bahrain, he describes these allegations as "nonsense" and makes a joke about the Epstein affair. "Maybe they'll come up with something else tomorrow, I don't know," he says, provoking laughter from the journalists. Mercedes is suspected by its competitors of having exploited a loophole in the regulations concerning compression ratios.
