The Formula 1 World Championship kicks off this weekend with the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne. The 2026 season consists of 24 races, but there will be no French Grand Prix. The big news: a Grand Prix in Madrid, scheduled for September 13, on the temporary Magring circuit, around the IFEMA exhibition center. This season, six sprint races are on the agenda, during the GPs of China, Miami, Canada, Great Britain, the Netherlands, and Singapore. Here’s the 2026 calendar:

- March 15: Chinese GP (Shanghai)
- March 29: Japanese GP (Suzuka)
- April 12: Bahrain GP (Sakhir)
- April 19: Saudi Arabian GP (Jeddah)
- May 3: Miami GP
- May 24: Canadian GP (Montreal)
- June 7: Monaco GP
- June 14: Catalonia GP (Barcelona)
- June 28: Austrian GP (Spielberg)
- July 5: British GP (Silverstone)
