France dominates the Formula Wing European Championships in Naples, clinching both the men's and women's titles. This double gold showcases their supremacy in the sport.

Find out how this victory reshapes the competitive landscape for the upcoming season.

The final day faced challenges as a north-easterly breeze thwarted the anticipated Neapolitan thermal winds, leading to the cancellation of races. With 12 races completed in the women's fleet and 13 in the men's, the results were confirmed, sparking celebrations along the Naples waterfront.

16-year-old Vaina Picot shines as the youngest Formula Wing European champion, winning nine of her 12 races and adapting brilliantly to tricky conditions. Defending champion Maddalena Spanu fought hard but settled for silver.

On the men’s side, Julien Rattotti's winter training pays off as he clinches the title with impressive consistency, finishing mostly in the top two. He adds this European title to his Wave world title, overwhelmed by his achievement.

Italy's Ernesto de Amicis, a local hero, secures silver, while France bolsters their success with bronze medals from Thomas Proust and Kylie Belloeuvre. The event concludes with a vibrant medal ceremony, celebrating France's dominance and Naples' successful hosting.
