Despite starting from the back due to a penalty for unapproved adjustments, Hamlin dominated the race, ultimately leading by 11.110 seconds—the largest margin at Michigan since 1991. Erik Jones finished second, while Bubba Wallace achieved a season-best third place. “I don’t think anyone was going to contend with Denny at the end,” Kyle Larson remarked.
