Diederik Forma's Dutch JPK 1030 Jetpack clinches the overall victory in the 2026 North Sea Race by a remarkable 22 minutes and 37 seconds after IRC time correction.

This win is not just a triumph; it marks a significant turnaround from last year’s race when Rob Craigie's British Sun Fast 3600 Bellino snatched victory by a mere 53 seconds from Jetpack.

Jetpack, racing double-handed with Martijn Graafmans, showcases skillful strategy and speed, particularly on the crucial downwind legs. The decision to switch to a symmetric setup proves pivotal, allowing them to sail low and fast.

Craigie's Bellino finishes second, while Michel Dorsman's Dutch MAT 1070 Checkmate takes third, trailing by 16 minutes and 48 seconds. Jan Scholtes' J/99 Warp 5 comes in fourth, just two minutes and five seconds behind.

For Forma, this victory holds special meaning as it culminates years of hard work, especially racing against respected competitors like Craigie and Deb Fish. "Racing double-handed; trust is everything," he remarks, highlighting the teamwork that led them to success.

Jetpack also grabs multiple trophies, including the Goeree Challenge Cup and the City of Hague Trophy, in a celebration held at Yacht Club Scheveningen.
