Under a new competition format, the top 10 teams race with adjusted point totals. The Canadians notched a fifth-place finish in the final race, while Barcelo and Cantero took 10th, allowing the Lewin-LaFrance sisters to take home the gold. Germany's Sophie Steinlein and Catherine Bertelheimer snag silver with 47 points, edging out the Spanish pair on a tiebreaker.
