Alex Bowman will miss at least three more races due to lingering vertigo symptoms. The Hendrick Motorsports driver exited the March 1 race at Circuit of the Americas and has since been sidelined for events in Phoenix and Las Vegas. Myatt Snider filled in at COTA, Anthony Alfredo took over in Phoenix, and Justin Allgaier drove at Las Vegas. Allgaier returns to the No. 48 Chevrolet this weekend at Darlington Raceway, followed by Martinsville Speedway and Bristol Motor Speedway. Hendrick Motorsports president Jeff Andrews confirms the team supports Bowman’s recovery. Currently, Bowman sits 36th in the Cup standings, 232 points behind leader Tyler Reddick. He seeks to bounce back after a strong 2025 season that saw him make the playoffs. Bowman has eight wins and 112 top 10s in 364 career Cup starts. Kyle Larson will step in for Bowman at Darlington in the No. 88 Chevrolet.
