Reaves has been recovering from a Grade 2 left oblique strain, initially suffered during a crushing 139-96 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on April 2. The 27-year-old guard, who averaged 23.3 points per game this season, began his return-to-play program earlier this week, showcasing his determination to get back on the court.
On the other side, Durant made his return in Game 2 after missing Game 1 due to a right knee contusion. He scored 23 points but struggled in the second half, contributing to five of his nine turnovers in the postseason, a personal worst.
The Lakers currently lead the series 2-0, having edged out the Rockets 101-94 in Game 2. Additionally, Lakers' backup forward Jake LaRavia is dealing with a minor right ankle sprain but is not listed on the injury report. With both teams facing injury challenges, Game 3 is shaping up to be critical in the playoff series.
