Portland Trail Blazers guard Shaedon Sharpe is sidelined for at least 4-6 weeks due to a stress reaction in his left fibula. The diagnosis follows a calf strain that already kept him out for the last six games. Follow-up imaging revealed the extent of the injury. The team states that this recovery period will facilitate healing before Sharpe begins a progressive return to full basketball activity. The 22-year-old ranks second on the Blazers with 21.4 points per game, complemented by 4.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists. Sharpe sustained the calf injury in the first half of a 135-115 win against the Memphis Grizzlies, a game that ended the team’s six-game losing streak. Drafted seventh overall in 2022, Sharpe is in his fourth season with the Blazers.
