The Dallas Cowboys trade defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa to the San Francisco 49ers for a third-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, according to NFL Media. Odighizuwa, who signed a four-year, $80 million extension last offseason, becomes expendable after the Cowboys bolstered their defensive line with Kenny Clark and Quinnen Williams. Last season, Odighizuwa recorded 3.5 sacks and 44 tackles, ranking sixth in pressures among defensive tackles with 52. His addition significantly enhances the 49ers' defense, which struggled with just 20 sacks last season, the fewest in the league. The Cowboys continue to strengthen their roster, trading for Packers edge rusher Rashan Gary and securing former Cardinals safety Jalen Thompson. This trade also clears Odighizuwa's $16 million salary from Dallas' books for 2026.
