Quarterback Daniel Jones and the Indianapolis Colts finalize a two-year contract worth $88 million, potentially rising to $100 million, according to ESPN. The deal includes $50 million guaranteed. Last week, the Colts placed a $37.8 million transition tag on Jones, protecting their investment. This agreement follows the re-signing of wide receiver Alec Pierce on a four-year, $114 million deal after he racked up a career-high 1,003 receiving yards in 2025.

Jones, who led the Colts to an 8-2 record before tearing his Achilles in Week 14, recorded 3,101 passing yards, 19 touchdowns, and a 100.2 passer rating this past season. He surpassed Anthony Richardson to secure the starting quarterback role in training camp. Previously, Jones spent five seasons with the New York Giants before a brief stint with the Minnesota Vikings. The 28-year-old aims for a Week 1 comeback.
