A.J. Brown remains with the Philadelphia Eagles amid trade speculation. The three-time Pro Bowler has voiced frustration about his role, leading to questions about his chemistry with quarterback Jalen Hurts. Last season, he suggested fans should "get rid" of him from their fantasy teams and joked about finding his "highlights" in Madden NFL 26. The Eagles have fielded trade discussions with the Los Angeles Rams and New England Patriots, but have currently paused talks. Reports indicate a demand of at least one first-round pick plus another top-100 selection for Brown. He signed a three-year, $96 million extension in April 2024, with a substantial dead cap hit of $43 million if traded before June 1. In 2025, Brown recorded 78 receptions for 1,003 yards and seven touchdowns, but struggled in the postseason with minimal production against the San Francisco 49ers.
