Kyle Van Noy, former Pro Bowl linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens, openly expresses his desire to join the San Francisco 49ers. This move could significantly impact the 49ers’ defensive lineup and reuniting with his brother, Fred Warner, adds a personal touch to the potential transition.
In a recent appearance on "Up & Adams," Van Noy stated, "I'd really like to play with my little brother," highlighting the bond he shares with Warner. The 35-year-old linebacker is one of the top free agents available and is eyeing a team that he believes is "cooking" with talent.
During his time with the Ravens, Van Noy earned his first Pro Bowl selection in 2024, recording a career-high 12.5 sacks. Last season, he contributed with two sacks, one interception, and 20 combined tackles over 15 games. If he signs with San Francisco, he would bolster a defense that struggled with injuries, especially among its linebackers, and finished last in the league with only 20 sacks in 2025.
With a new defensive coordinator, Raheem Morris, at the helm, the 49ers look to improve their defensive stats. Van Noy's experience and skills could be pivotal as they aim for a stronger season ahead.
