St. Louis Blues forward Robert Thomas takes a temporary leave of absence due to a personal matter. The announcement comes from Blues president of hockey operations and general manager Doug Armstrong. Thomas, the team’s second-leading scorer with 33 points, is expected to return on Friday. In 42 games this season, he has recorded 11 goals and 22 assists. Thomas has been on injured reserve since January 16 due to a lower-body injury and last played on January 10 against the Vegas Golden Knights. The Blues aim to stay competitive as they navigate his absence.
