Tobias Wendl and Tobias Arlt of Germany secure their seventh men's doubles World Cup luge overall title in St. Moritz. They finish third in the race, clinching the season title with one event remaining. Austria's Thomas Steu and Wolfgang Kindl take the race victory, with Italy's Ivan Nagler and Fabian Malleier in second. In women's doubles, Selina Egle and Lara Kipp of Austria claim their second consecutive overall title, despite finishing fifth in the race. Olympic champions Andrea Voetter and Marion Oberhofer of Italy win the event, followed by Germany's Elisa-Marie Storch and Pauline Patz. In women's singles, Julia Taubitz of Germany wins and extends her points lead to 19 over Merle Fraebel. Taubitz needs a top-two finish in Altenberg to secure the overall title. Summer Britcher of the U.S. finishes seventh and remains fourth in the world rankings. Men's luge World Cup continues Sunday in St. Moritz.
