Manchester United targets Eintracht Frankfurt full-back Nathaniel Brown this summer, facing fierce competition from Liverpool. The 22-year-old is making waves as one of Europe's top talents, tallying four goals and six assists this season. His recent performance for Germany in a 2-1 victory over Ghana further solidifies his rising profile.
Frankfurt’s sporting director, Markus Krosche, lauds Brown as “already one of the best full-backs in Europe.” Reports indicate Manchester United is “in the mix” to secure his services, joining a host of elite clubs including Barcelona, Real Madrid, Arsenal, and Manchester City.
Frankfurt demands between €65-70m (approximately £61m / $81m) for Brown, with a transfer increasingly likely. No formal negotiations have taken place yet. United aims to bolster their left-back options, with Luke Shaw needing competition and Tyrell Malacia unlikely to receive a contract extension after struggling for game time under Michael Carrick.
Liverpool, however, poses a significant challenge in the race for Brown, as they seek a long-term successor for Andy Robertson, who is also out of contract soon. With top clubs circling, Brown’s future looks bright and a major transfer could be on the horizon.
