Sailors from 34 Nations Compete in Cádiz at iQFOiL Games

The 2026 iQFOiL International Games #2 kick off in El Puerto de Santa María, Cádiz, with over 160 sailors from 34 nations. Organized by the Federación Andaluza de Vela and the International iQFOiL Class Association, this event features Senior and Youth & Junior fleets. Day One sees light winds, but conditions improve, allowing four Course Races across all six fleets.

In the Senior Women's fleet, Katerina Svikova (CZE) leads, with Kristýna Pinosová (CZE) in second and Pilar Lamadrid (ESP) in third. Mateus Isaac (BRA) tops the Senior Men's fleet, followed by Onur Cavit Biriz (TUR) and Rytis Jasunas (LTU).

Salomé Simon (FRA) leads the U19 Women's division, while Jorge Ruiz Lopez (ESP) dominates the U19 Men's fleet. Parla Kabasakal (TUR) and Enric Patino Riutord (ESP) lead the U17 Women's and Men's divisions, respectively. Excitement builds for the week ahead!
