The 55th Trofeo Princesa Sofia Mallorca by FERGUS Hotels crowns its champions as the ORC, One Design, and Hansa 303 classes wrap up a day early. Strong winds in the Bay of Palma force the cancellation of the final day’s races. In ORC 0-2, Haltbroken, skippered by Germany's Michael Berghorn, claims victory. Bitxet, led by Menorca’s Antoni Cavaller, wins ORC 3, while Lampo Rosso, skippered by Joan Jofre, takes ORC 4-5. In Sportboat, Abracadabra, under Mark Sadler, finishes first. Among One-Designs, Joakim Sundberg’s Trinity tops the Cape 31 class, Virginia Álvarez’s Stella leads the 6 Metre Open, and Pete Cooke’s Meteor Racing wins the Dragon category. In Hansa 303, Poland’s Piotr Cichocki secures overall victory. The prize-giving ceremony features prominent sailing figures. Olympic classes begin competition tomorrow at Club Marítimo San Antonio de la Playa, Es Portitxol, and Club Nàutic S'Arenal.
