The Tenzor International Cup - J/70 Open Winter Series 2025/2026 kicks off its final leg in Bodrum, Türkiye, with intense competition on day one. Sailors from Turkiye, Russia, Spain, Italy, and Belarus are vying for points in this crucial stage of the Turkiye Tour 2026.

Nineteen boats take to the water as the first race day unfolds under shifting winds of 8 to 15 knots. Turkish team Cheese Sailing, led by Güney Kaptan, claims the top spot with 11 points after a strong performance, showcasing their consistency. "It was an excellent day," says Levent Peynirci, praising the crew's collaboration with Italian Trimmer Massimo Bortoletto.

Just behind in second place are Onur Erardag's Nautique Yachting, with 12 points. Tactician Doga Aribas credits their focus on stability in the large fleet for their success. Meanwhile, Pavel Kuznetsov's AtomTavatuy sits in third with 15 points, despite a challenging race due to wind shifts.

In fourth place is Inna Balashova's Dolce Vita, reflecting the high level of competition. Ilya Strakh notes, "The races were dynamic, and mistakes are costly in this fleet." With two days left, the battle for supremacy is only just beginning.
