Today, the morning kicked off with three stages in Mortágua, where Sami Pajari surprised everyone by posting the best time, just 1.4 seconds behind Fourmaux. However, the big shock was the fall of Oliver Solberg, who lost nearly ten seconds and the lead, admitting that the sensations at the wheel were “horrible.”
The second stage, Arganil, saw Pajari repeat his success, keeping the pressure on Fourmaux, who remains firmly at the top. Meanwhile, the third stage in Lousã, which hadn’t been held since 1995, was dominated by Thierry Neuville, although Fourmaux managed to maintain his advantage.
The quartet behind Fourmaux, consisting of Pajari, Sébastien Ogier, and Neuville, promises an intense battle for the remainder of the rally. With each driver adjusting their strategies, the spectacle is guaranteed as this thrilling competition continues.
