Feirense-Beeceler, a Portuguese Continental cycling team, faces a 22-day racing suspension due to multiple doping violations. The suspension follows three riders—Venceslau Fernandes, Barry Frederik Miller, and Antonio Carvalho Ferreira—failing Biological Passport tests during the 2022 and 2023 seasons. The International Testing Agency (ITA) announced the decision, effective from March 22 to April 12. Fernandes received a six-year ban after abnormalities were detected in his Biological Passport while racing in 2022. Miller's case, linked to February 2023, remains ongoing, while Carvalho Ferreira has been handed a four-year ban following similar findings. This suspension comes shortly after Colombian team Medellin-EPM received a 30-day ban for two Biological Passport violations. The UCI Disciplinary Commission's ruling can be appealed at the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
