The duo, separated from their companions Annelies Nijssen and Marine Allione, pushed hard but were caught just 3 kilometers from the finish line. Jaskulska ignited the action with a strategic attack 14 kilometers from the finish, pairing up with Hanson to maintain a lead until the final descent. They held a 30-second advantage with just a few kilometers remaining, but the relentless peloton ultimately caught them.
Marine Allione, who was caught earlier, achieved her goal by taking the lead in the mountain classification, earning the polka-dot jersey. "It's incredible to have the jersey," she expressed after her victory on the Alto de Oural and Alto do Hospital.
