Kirsten Frattini is the first female Editor of Cyclingnews, stepping into the role in December 2025. Her journey began in 2006 as a race correspondent covering the Tour de Georgia, a major UCI stage race. Based in Canada, she quickly transitioned into a permanent role spanning 20 years. Throughout her career, Frattini has held positions such as production editor, women's editor, and deputy editor. Now, she leads a global team of journalists dedicated to 24/7 coverage across road, track, cyclo-cross, mountain bike, and gravel disciplines. In celebration of International Women's Day, she reflects on her impactful assignments and memorable interviews in cycling. Frattini’s leadership marks a significant milestone in the history of Cyclingnews, enhancing its commitment to comprehensive cycling coverage.
