Mathieu van der Poel, Wout van Aert, and Isaac del Toro are key riders at the upcoming Tirreno-Adriatico. The 61st edition kicks off Monday, featuring 168 competitors racing 1,165 kilometers over seven days from Lido di Camaiore to San Benedetto del Tronto. This year's route includes a time trial, two sprint stages, and four hilly stages with 16 classified climbs. Reigning champion Juan Ayuso does not defend his title, opening the door for del Toro, who is now the main contender. The Mexican rider already claimed victory this season and has a solid fourth-place finish from his debut here two years ago. With 18 wins last season, del Toro aims to leverage his growing experience. Expect fierce competition as Classics specialists and sprinters also vie for glory ahead of Milan-San Remo.
