Currently, 30 teams are registered, including standout competitors like JPK 11.80 Bacchanal, owned by Ron Epstein, and the newly refurbished Santa Cruz 52, Rosebud. Bacchanal, having previously podiumed in 2023 and 2024, is back with a seasoned crew, eager to reclaim their spot on the water after missing out last year. “I had a serious case of FOMO watching RBBS from shore in 2025,” Epstein admits, highlighting his team’s extensive preparation over 2,000 miles of racing this past year.

Rosebud marks its return after a two-decade hiatus, thanks to a meticulous refit. The original winner of the 1999 RBBS, this boat represents a nostalgic reunion for its crew, who cherish the event as a highlight of the sailing calendar.
