Registration is now open for the 2026 Melges 24 European Championship, set for August 29 to September 4, 2026. The Notice of Race is published, and entries are live on Manage2Sail. Teams from Canada, Croatia, the Netherlands, and Norway have already signed up, showing strong international interest. Tønsberg Seilforening hosts the event in historic Tønsberg, Norway, located about 100 kilometers south of Oslo. The Oslofjord’s race area promises excellent one-design racing with varying conditions, from light summer breezes to stronger winds. The Norwegian Melges 24 fleet is eager to welcome international competitors, with 19 teams already entered for the Norwegian Championship in Trondheim this June. Erik Virik Fusdahl of Tønsberg Seilforening and Vemund Gransæther from the Norwegian Melges 24 National Class Association emphasize the event’s significance and commitment to world-class racing and camaraderie in a stunning setting.
