Johannes Klaebo sets a new record at the Winter Games with nine gold medals. The Norwegian triumphs in the cross-country skiing relay at the Milan Cortina Olympics, on Sunday in the Val di Fiemme. At 29 years old, Klaebo, who has already won four titles in four races in Italy, surpasses legends Marit Bjoergen, Bjoern Daehlie, and Ole Einar Bjoerndalen, all of whom have eight medals. France takes silver, while Italy claims bronze. Under a clear sky, Norway dominates the race, with Klaebo skillfully managing the lead as the final leg runner. With this fourth gold medal, he aims for a "Grand Slam," an unprecedented achievement he already accomplished at the last World Championships. The team sprints on Wednesday and the 50 kilometers on Saturday are still to be contested. Klaebo, the master of cross-country skiing, will head into the races as the favorite.
