UEFA confirms the travel ban for Galatasaray supporters for the return leg of the Champions League Round of 16 match at Liverpool, scheduled for March 18. The Turkish club, after eliminating Juventus (7-5 on aggregate), will head to Anfield without its fans. UEFA's appeals committee rejects Galatasaray's appeal, thus upholding the sanctions imposed by the disciplinary committee. This decision follows incidents in Turin, where projectiles and fireworks injured a man and his daughter. In addition to the travel ban, Galatasaray is fined 40,000 euros for the behavior of its supporters. The first leg takes place on March 10 at 6:45 PM.
