Real Madrid has been fined 15,000 euros after one of its supporters displayed Nazi salutes. During the Champions League playoff against Benfica on February 25, a fan was filmed making several unacceptable gestures at the Santiago Bernabeu. Spotted by security, he was immediately ejected from the stadium. The club responded in a statement, strongly condemning these behaviors that incite violence and hatred. UEFA didn't stop there and also imposed a partial closure of the stadium, particularly near the lower south stand, for an upcoming match. Real Madrid now faces serious consequences for these inappropriate actions.
