Grae Morris heads to the iQFOiL European Championships in Portimão, Portugal, with a title to defend and momentum on his side. This event, starting on May 18, holds fond memories for Morris, who clinched the iQFOiL Under 23 World Championship here last year. Following a strong start to the international season, including a victory at French Olympic Week, confidence runs high.

Portimão is known for its unpredictable conditions, with strong offshore winds and onshore breezes creating a challenging race environment. Morris has been preparing diligently, stating, "I've been in Europe, doing a bit of training... then came over to the event site about a week ago." His approach is straightforward: "You get what you get, and you don't get upset."

Morris aims to keep pace with the top competitors and is excited for the challenge ahead. Joining him are three other Australians in the men’s division, including rising star Rory Meehan, the U19 World Champion. The women's division features Anna Crispey and Sammie Costin. Racing continues through the weekend, culminating in the medal series on May 23, where the European Champions will be crowned.
