The 2026 Salcombe Gin Morgan Cup Race is set to be a pivotal moment in the RORC Season’s Points Championship, showcasing the world's largest offshore racing series. This race, the fourth in the RORC Cowes Offshore Series, offers teams a crucial opportunity to earn valuable points in a thrilling seven-race lineup.

Starting from the Royal Yacht Squadron Line, competitors will navigate a challenging course from Cowes to Dartmouth, combining tactical maneuvers in the Solent with strategic decisions at tidal gates. The race’s intensity is matched by its complexity, where every second counts and timing is critical.

Over 40 boats will compete across six IRC Classes, including multihulls under MOCRA. Graeme Lewis' CM60 Venomous leads the IRC Zero class as the top contender for monohull line honors, while IRC One features a mix of competitive entries, including Trevor Middleton's JPK 1180 Black Sheep and Maarten Jan Reijnders' Custom 42 Karma, known for its power.

Derek Shakespeare's J/122 Bulldog stands out in IRC Two, while the largest class, IRC Three, boasts 17 entries, promising tight racing. Rob Craigie's Sun Fast 3600 Bellino remains a consistent contender, aiming for success in this competitive field.
