Tormod Frostad of Norway secures gold in big air freeskiing at the Milan Cortina Olympics. The 23-year-old dominates the final, initially leading after two massive jumps. However, Mac Forehand of the United States flips the script, taking the lead on his second-to-last jump. Frostad faces immense pressure but delivers a flawless final effort, finishing with 195.50 points to Forehand's 193.25. Austria's Matej Svancer claims bronze with 191.25 points. This victory marks Frostad's first Olympic gold in his second Games. Defending champion Birk Ruud of Norway finishes eighth after crashing twice. Forehand’s silver is only the second medal for the U.S. in freeski and snowboarding park events, following Chloe Kim's silver in halfpipe. The final experiences a 15-minute delay due to ongoing snow flurries. A snowstorm earlier prompts a rescheduling of the women's slopestyle final to Wednesday.
