The Henri-Lloyd Warsash Spring Championship concludes with spectacular weather and thrilling competition in the Solent. Here’s why this weekend’s results could reshape the standings for the season.

The final weekend features stable easterly winds and sunny skies, making for ideal racing conditions. Competitors experience wind speeds of 7-10 knots on Saturday and up to 13 knots on Sunday. The addition of yachts in Classes 1 and 2, thanks to the Performance 30 and 40 classes, intensifies the competition. Tim Webb's Swan 45, Luna, dominates Class 1 with six first-place finishes, leading Journeymaker 11 by 22 points and Jagerbomb by 27 points.

In IRC 2, Jukebox secures the top position, while Sam and Ollie Love's J109 finishes strong in second place. Notably, Sam Laidlaw’s ¼ tonner Aguila earns the Commodores' Cup, marking a remarkable consecutive win.

On the White Group side, Charlie Whelan’s unexpected swim doesn’t halt the excitement. Mark Gillett's PB11 clinches first in the Championship, finishing eight points ahead of Reservoir Bod.

The post-race social welcomes over 100 competitors, celebrating a successful weekend with fantastic prizes. The competitive spirit remains high as the season progresses.
