The 2026 Bough Beech Youth Icicle wraps up with thrilling racing. A tricky 10 to 15 knot Westerly shifts to a manageable South-Westerly as fifty boats hit the water. Race Officer Matt Wolstenholme launches the fleet on the first go. Emmanuel and John in the Tonbridge School RS200 grab a dream start but capsize on the second lap, ending their race early. Jamie and Josh in a Firefly claim victory, followed by Edie and Noah in a 420, and Nick and Jane in another Firefly. For the final race, Edie and Noah dominate in their 420, with Torben and Fin, and PG and Reuben close behind in RS Fevas. Charlie from Tonbridge Town SC secures the overall series victory in ILCA 6. Second place goes to Torben and Fin, with Sophia and Lizzie rounding out the podium. Bough Beech announces upcoming events, inviting all youth sailors to join.
