Sisu Selio and Peñalver Celebrate Victories at Valencia Sailing Regatta

Sisu Selio from Finland and Mª Antonia Peñalver from Spain are the champions of the Optiorange Regatta 2026 at Real Club Náutico de Valencia. After four days and nine races, Selio secures victory in the Optimist class, finishing with a sixth place on the final day. He ends with a total of 24 points, ten ahead of Turkey's Cengiz Eren Güvenç, who takes silver. Eren Kaan Erendemir, also from Turkey, claims bronze. In the women's category, Peñalver dominates from day one, finishing with a stage win and consistently strong placements. Poland's Pola Wojcik finishes second, while Spain's Valentina Belso takes third. In the Under-13 category, Mason Lim from the USA emerges as champion. The Valencia regatta wraps up the Optimist Excellence Cup, featuring competitors from multiple regions. The final podium includes Nicolás Bastard, Mara Peñalver, and Izan Rogel.
