Lando Norris, F1 world champion, tests the Toyota GR Yaris Rally2 in Sweden ahead of the Australian Grand Prix. The McLaren driver participates in a Monster Energy event, where he faces the harsh conditions of ice alongside Petter and Oliver Solberg. Oliver, WRC2 champion, guides Norris through the experience. "I’m learning. It’s a different driving style," comments the Brit. Both drivers swap seats, with Norris as the co-driver initially. Petter Solberg, impressed by Norris's performance, says: "He’s been really good. Now [Lando] is pushing as he should." This event highlights the growing interest of F1 drivers in rallying, with Max Verstappen and Lance Stroll also recently testing rally cars.
